About the association

The Association of Private Investigators of Ukraine was established in January 2019 and registered as a public association with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. In its activities, the Association is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Civil Code of Ukraine, the Tax Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine ‘On Public Associations’, the Law of Ukraine On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations’, and other applicable laws of Ukraine.

 The main purpose of the Association is to protect the interests of its members in carrying out their activities related to the provision of detective services and to coordinate the professional activities of members without granting the right to interfere in production and commercial activities, making management decisions, providing consulting services within the competence of the Association.

The main activities of the Association are as follows:

   - protection of the rights and interests of the Association members, ensuring their legal guarantees;

    - interaction and cooperation with the members of the Association;

   - Defense of the rights and interests of the Association members in their relations with public authorities and local governments, non-governmental organisations, enterprises, trade unions, and their associations;

  - assistance and direct participation in the development and adoption of the regulatory framework to facilitate the honest and transparent activities of the Association's members and the development of detective activities in Ukraine;

  - development and implementation of educational and social programs to develop and improve the professional level of domestic specialists in the field of non-state security;

  - establishing mutual trust, reliability, integrity and business partnership in relations between the members of the Association, ensuring compliance with the Code of Professional Ethics and Business Conduct of the Association members;

  - providing members of the Association with explanations of the Association's goals by organizing special events, seminars and conferences, trainings, exhibitions for the exchange of experience, media appearances, providing consultations, engaging local and foreign specialist consultants;

  - assisting EBA members in establishing contacts with partners in Ukraine and international cooperation.

    At this time, it is very important to develop new communications between private sector investigators. Our goal is not only to establish cooperation and effective links between detectives and employees of the non-state security sector in Ukraine, but also to establish and develop them with specialized organizations around the world.

    The Association strives to bring the needs and benefits of specialists in this field to the general public, as well as to ensure the trust and confidence of clients when requesting services from our associate members.                                                                                                             

     The Association has a registered logo, as well as badges with the logo.
